About The Position

As a member of our team, you will accurately diagnose and repair problems with commercial HVAC equipment. With a strong focus on customer service and a commitment to integrity, you will communicate solutions to customers. This role involves analyzing, diagnosing, and resolving customer concerns in commercial environments, performing service on commercial heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment as well as accessories, and performing start-ups on air conditioning as required. The technician is responsible for the delivery and removal of equipment needed to complete service work and for providing excellent service to commercial customers while sustaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Handling customer concerns, questions, or problems effectively and preparing material requisition forms to ensure proper truck stock levels are also key aspects of this position. Other duties include performing maintenance on equipment, servicing and/or cleaning IAQ products, soldering, welding, brazing, and performing minor field fabrication.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • License in commercial HVAC required (Gasfitter 2 or Gasfitter 1 License).
  • Proven mechanical aptitude and experience in the commercial HVAC field.
  • Able to operate all necessary tools and equipment to perform various projects.
  • Adept at servicing commercial heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment, as well as related accessories.
  • Demonstrated commitment to the delivery of customer-focused service.
  • Must be able to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and production diagrams.
  • Ability to work overtime and weekend hours as required.
  • Must be able to meet the minimum requirements for our background check criteria.

Nice To Haves

  • Refrigeration license (313A License) preferred.
  • License in plumbing, electrical work, sheet metal, or refrigeration an asset.

Responsibilities
