Commercial Service Plumber
About The Position
FMM is seeking a motivated professional to fill our Commercial Service Plumber position. FMM is a maintenance and construction company servicing both residential and commercial clients nationwide. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing all building operating systems on site. The technician will be assigned to multiple locations and must be available for after-hours emergency calls. Requirements
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in residential and commercial plumbing installation and service.
- Familiarity with DWV piping systems, domestic water systems, gas piping, grease trap installation and service, sewer lines, etc.
- Professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well with a team.
- Ability to work independently without instruction.
- Clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a drug screen.
- Tech savvy (mobile friendly technology).
- Problem solving skills.
- High School Diploma.
- Five (5) years previous experience.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and make decisions using FMM's core values of Quality, Teamwork, Integrity, Safety, and Versatility.
- Proficient in computer, text, and email skills.
Nice To Haves
- Candidates currently holding licenses or certifications will be highly considered.
- Tools are not required but are a huge plus!
Responsibilities
- Maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing all building operating systems on site.
- Arranging for repairs of all building operating systems on the site.
- Being available for after-hour emergency calls.
- Residential plumbing installation and repair.
- Commercial plumbing installation and repair.
- Communicating effectively with clients, vendors, peers, and supervisors.
- Operating equipment such as backhoe, ditch witch, skid steer, lull, scissor lift, and man lift.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
