About The Position

Bryan Electric, Inc. is a family-oriented company established in 2009, specializing in commercial electrical construction and service. Our Roll-Out/Service Division focuses on installing, repairing, and maintaining commercial electrical systems. We are seeking an experienced Commercial Service Electrician to join our Service Department. The Service/Small Project Commercial Electrician will be responsible for servicing and installing electrical systems and equipment, including servicing, repairing, and maintaining various systems in customer facilities during scheduled hours, with rotation on-call 24x7. This role also involves performing small project electrical installations.

Requirements

  • Strong commercial electrical background (5 years or more preferred).
  • Strong troubleshooting skills utilizing test equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Electric Code.
  • Ability to safely operate and maintain a specialized electrical service vehicle.
  • Driver's License required.
  • Able to maintain professional appearance and conduct at all times.
  • Able to demonstrate necessary tablet and software skills.
  • Ability to manage customer and company specific information and documentation in an organized manner.
  • Able to maintain high levels of productivity, meeting deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
  • Must be an effective and professional communicator, both written and verbally, filling out daily paperwork correctly.
  • Able to be on twenty-four hour call on a rotating basis, as needed.
  • Physically able to perform the duties of the position.
  • Ability to pass a MVR screening.
  • Ability to pass a background screening.
  • Ability to pass a drug screening.
  • Georgia issued drivers license.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer's electrical needs professionally.
  • Understand and implement all OSHA requirements and company electric safety policies.
  • Accurately enter data into service management software via mobile tablet for work order updates, tracking, documentation, and invoicing.
  • Provide other required reports to management (Time Sheets, Employee Evaluations, Vehicle Inspections, etc.).
  • Troubleshoot malfunctioning systems and determine repair solutions.
  • Install all systems in accordance with the NEC and applicable standards.
  • Communicate all issues clearly to customers and management.
  • Requisition necessary materials, tools, equipment, and manpower for work orders.
  • Effectively manage resources to control budgets.
  • Manage and care for a service vehicle, tools, material inventory, and equipment.
  • Manage, train, and develop assigned manpower.
