About The Position

CertaPro Painters of Castle Rock is seeking a Commercial Sales Manager to cover the Denver and surrounding areas. This is a growing business looking for a high-performing sales professional. CertaPro Painters is a leader in the residential and commercial painting industry, known for delivering certainty to customers and employees. This full commission role offers significant earning potential, with the right person making $100,000-$200,000 annually. The company provides a base salary to support growth while building the business. The ideal candidate is a hungry salesperson who knows how to close deals and is excited about identifying and introducing themselves to new commercial painting clients. Initially, the role will focus on commercial sales with availability for residential sales during busy periods, eventually transitioning to a full-time commercial sales representative.

Requirements

  • Must live in the Denver area.
  • Proven track record of sales success.

  • Strong written/verbal skills, including proof-reading and basic math skills for estimating.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Proven record of ability to set, meet, and exceed goals.
  • Sales experience necessary for success.
  • Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record.

  • Previous experience in the paint industry is not required but can be helpful.

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate relationships with clients through networking and entertaining.
  • Identify and introduce themselves to new commercial painting clients.
  • Provide painting estimates.
  • Maintain the list of current commercial accounts.
  • Win work, close deals, and sell.
  • Initiate and develop relationships and sell to new commercial clients, including Property Managers, Facility Managers, and Industrial Customers.
  • Conduct cold calling and field networking to seek new business in multi-family dwellings, hotels/hospitality, churches, schools, office buildings, health care centers, and warehouses.
  • Provide estimates to clients using proprietary technology and systems by measuring projects.
  • Participate in industry events and tradeshows.
  • Perform diligent customer follow-up and follow-through.
  • Set and hit sales goals.
  • Create detailed written proposals with accurate measurements and pricing.
  • Ensure customer needs and expectations are clearly communicated and accurately documented on written proposals.
  • Entertain clients with lunch and learns, happy hours, coffee drops, etc.
  • Be field-based and drive throughout the community daily.
