Today, with more than 80 employees and a management team in place that has over 100 years of experience, JB Roofing, A Tecta America Company is currently searching for a Commercial Roofing Service Tech I at its Tiffin, OH location. The role involves leading a service crew and being responsible for investigating, locating, and repairing leaks and defects in various commercial roofing systems including EPDM, PVC, TPO, Built-up Roofing, Modified Bitumen, and low slope metal. The technician will manage commercial roofing projects from start to finish, ensuring the highest level of craftsmanship.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
2+ years experience leading commercial roofing crews.
A valid driver's license.
Must be able to lift 50+ pounds regularly.
Must be able to work at varying heights and during a variety of weather conditions.
Ability to communicate well with clients, supervisors, and co-workers.
Initiative, Integrity, and Adaptability.
Technology savvy.

Responsibilities

Lead the service crew.
Investigate, locate, and repair leaks and defects in commercial roofing systems (EPDM, PVC, TPO, Built-up Roofing, Modified Bitumen, and low slope metal).
Manage commercial roofing projects from start to finish.
Ensure the highest level of craftsmanship.
Perform roof maintenance and repairs.
Perform work in accordance with job specifications and safety guidelines.
Maintain professional interaction with all customers.
Manage commercial roofing crew, including completing required paperwork, attending meetings as necessary, and assisting in training of crew members as needed.
