Today, with more than 80 employees and a management team in place that has over 100 years of experience, JB Roofing, A Tecta America Company is currently searching for a Commercial Roofing Service Tech I at its Worthington, OH location. The role involves leading a service crew and being responsible for investigating, locating, and repairing leaks and defects in various commercial roofing systems including EPDM, PVC, TPO, Built-up Roofing, Modified Bitumen, and low slope metal. The position also entails managing commercial roofing projects from start to finish and ensuring the highest level of craftsmanship.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old
2+ years experience leading commercial roofing crews
A valid driver's license
Must be able to lift 50+ pounds regularly
Must be able to work at varying heights and during variety of weather conditions
Ability to communicate well with clients, supervisors, and co-workers.
Initiative, Integrity, and Adaptability.
Technology savvy

Responsibilities

Roof maintenance and repairs
Perform work in accordance with job specifications and safety guidelines.
Maintain professional interaction with all customers.
Manage commercial roofing crew, includes completing required paperwork, attending meetings as necessary, assist in training of crew members as needed
