About The Position
Nations Roof is seeking a hands-on, customer-focused professional for its Service Department. The role surveys existing roof conditions, investigates and diagnoses leaks, provides accurate cost estimates for small-scope repairs, and performs warranted repairs on a variety of commercial roofing systems. The position works on existing buildings throughout the region and requires current residency in the Greater Memphis, Tennessee area. The foreman performs inspections and repairs, maintains accurate work records, and leads and trains assigned helpers. The role requires professional, respectful interactions with customers, vendors, and coworkers, and adherence to company safety policies and OSHA requirements. Requirements
- Commercial roofing experience with BUR, EPDM, TPO, PVC, coatings, and other low-slope roofing systems.
- Experience leading and training helpers in a small team environment.
- Ability to identify and solve technical roofing application and repair issues.
- Strong attention to detail with daily reporting and documentation.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers.
- Willingness to learn and use company software and technology.
- Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record.
- Basic computer and smartphone proficiency.
- Ability to travel locally throughout the Greater Nashville area and surrounding communities as required.
- Current residency in the Greater Memphis, Tennessee area.
- All candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
Nice To Haves
- Five or more years of commercial roofing production, service, or supervision experience.
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish.
- Experience estimating and quoting roofing repairs.
- Commercial roofing experience in a Foreman, Lead, or Service Technician role is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine roof inspections and maintain manufacturer warranties.
- Diagnose and perform leak repairs on commercial and industrial roofing systems.
- Lead and train assigned helpers in repair techniques and small-scope construction activities.
- Work on commercial roofing systems including EPDM, TPO, PVC, Built-Up Roofing (BUR), Modified Bitumen, and other low-slope systems.
- Maintain accurate records of labor, materials, and completed work.
- Represent Nations Roof professionally and interact with customers, vendors, and coworkers in an honest, ethical, and respectful manner.
- Follow company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
- Survey existing roof conditions, investigate and diagnose leaks, provide cost estimates for small-scope repair work, and perform warranted repairs.
