About The Position

Eagle Cornice, a Tecta America Co., founded in 1901, is a leading roofing contractor in Rhode Island seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Foreman to join their growing Cranston, RI team. This role is responsible for the installation, removal, and replacement of commercial roofing systems, overseeing projects from start to finish to ensure high standards of craftsmanship, quality, and production.

Requirements

• 3-5 years’ experience with various commercial roofing systems, required.
• Proven leadership or foreman experience.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business documents, job specifications, technical procedures and/or government regulations.
• Ability to lift 25+ lbs. regularly, 50+ lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to climb ladders and work in an outdoor setting, with varying weather conditions.
• Proven ability to train and supervise employees, with an emphasis on developing commercial roofing skills.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and time management skills.
• Ability to follow instructions, perform work in accordance with job specifications and safety guidelines, and maintain a strong level of professionalism.
• OSHA 10 certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

• OSHA 30 strongly preferred
• Bilingual (Spanish/English), highly desirable

Responsibilities

• Installation and removal of various types of commercial roofing systems including TPO, EPDM, PVC, etc.
• Supervise, direct and train roofing crews on commercial roofing sites.
• Perform work in accordance with job specifications and safety guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with Operations team, clients, vendors and crew members.
• Track materials, labor and job progress.
• Enforce Company and OSHA safety standards.
• Complete all required paperwork, electronic correspondence and attend meetings as required.
• Additional duties as assigned.
