About The Position
Nations Roof is seeking an experienced, hands-on Commercial Roofing Superintendent to support large-scale commercial roofing projects in New York. This hourly position is heavily focused on quality assurance and quality control, field coordination, safety, and project documentation. Candidates with at least three years of lead foreman, superintendent, or commercial roofing service leadership experience are encouraged to apply. Experienced installers with strong roofing knowledge, leadership ability, and computer skills will also be considered.
Requirements
- At least three years of commercial roofing leadership experience in a superintendent, lead foreman, or service leadership capacity.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of commercial roofing installation and repair.
- Knowledge of TPO, PVC, EPDM, modified bitumen, BUR, coatings, insulation, and common roof-deck systems.
- Ability to read plans, specifications, details, and scopes of work.
- Strong computer skills, including electronic reporting and photo documentation.
- Working knowledge of OSHA standards, fall protection, and jobsite safety.
- OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 strongly preferred.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- All candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.

- Experience with large commercial construction projects preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform ongoing QA/QC inspections to verify workmanship meets project specifications, manufacturer requirements, and company standards.
- Document inspections, testing, deficiencies, corrective work, punch lists, and project progress.
- Coordinate daily field activities with foremen, crews, subcontractors, project managers, and general contractors.
- Review project drawings, specifications, details, and scopes of work.
- Help coordinate labor, materials, equipment, inspections, and project schedules.
- Support jobsite safety requirements, toolbox talks, audits, and corrective actions.
- Identify installation or field issues and promptly communicate them to project management.
- Complete daily reports, photo logs, time verification, and other required documentation using company systems.
- Assist with manufacturer inspections, warranty documentation, change-order records, and project closeout.
- Coach field employees on proper installation methods, quality expectations, and safe work practices.
