About The Position
The Commercial Roofing Estimator at Bone Dry plays a pivotal role in partnership with our sales representatives in the Cincinnati and Dayton area. Your analytical estimating expertise combined with your sales skills to prepare compelling proposals, estimate project costs, and close deals with our clients. Your primary responsibility will be to represent Bone Dry with the utmost professionalism and care while driving revenue growth by identifying opportunities, negotiating contracts, and delivering tailored solutions.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Pass a background check and Pre-employment Drug Screen
- Must be able to climb ladder safely, access various roof types (flat, low-slope, steep/inclined)
- Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
- 1-2 years customer service experience
- 2+ years experience in commercial roofing (repairs, production, or sales)
Nice To Haves
- Construction/roofing industry experience preferred
- Military service is a plus
Responsibilities
- Sell and Estimate Commercial Roofing Jobs, perform take-offs, write proposals, communicate with business owners or property managers
- Write picking list, order materials, arrange for permits
- Make sure customers are aware of our referral programs
- Generate and maintain relationships with property managers, general contractors and other local avenues of business
