State Roofing Systems is seeking Commercial Roofers of all experience levels to join our growing team. Our crews work on a variety of commercial roofing systems including TPO, PVC, EPDM, modified bitumen, built-up roofing, roof coatings, and tile roofing systems. This is a hands-on role working alongside experienced professionals who value safety, quality craftsmanship, and teamwork. You’ll play a critical role in installing, repairing, and maintaining roofing systems that protect some of the largest commercial facilities in the region.
Requirements
- Ability to work in outdoor environments and at heights
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to follow safety procedures and company policies
- Dependable with strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding work
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in commercial roofing, single ply roofing, or roof coating systems is preferred but not required
- Previous experience with TPO, PVC, EPDM, modified bitumen, built-up roofing, tile roofing, or roof coating systems
- Experience working on commercial construction sites
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
- Bilingual Spanish/English a plus
- Valid driver’s license preferred
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain commercial roofing systems
- Assist with tear-offs, roof preparation, insulation installation, membrane application, coatings, and tile systems
- Operate roofing tools and equipment safely and efficiently
- Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations, including proper fall protection
- Work collaboratively with crew members, foremen, and project managers
- Maintain job site cleanliness and organization
- Assist with material handling, staging, and job site preparation
