Requirements

  • High School/GED preferred, but not required
  • 1-3 Years Minimum in Commercial Roofing
  • Driver’s License: Required
  • A strong commitment to safety.
  • Attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to identify and resolve problems.
  • Willingness to learn new roofing systems, techniques, and equipment.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently when needed.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing jobsite conditions and priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, and replace commercial roofing systems, including TPO, EPDM, PVC, modified bitumen, metal, and other low-slope roofing materials.
  • Measure, cut, and install roofing materials according to project specifications and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Install insulation, vapor barriers, flashing, sealants, and waterproofing systems.
  • Diagnose roof damage and perform repairs using appropriate materials and techniques.
  • Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and roofing equipment.
  • Load, unload, and transport roofing materials and equipment on the jobsite.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas throughout each project.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and PPE requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with crew members to complete projects on schedule.
  • Assist with training and mentoring newer team members as experience allows.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
