About The Position

URI is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Commercial Restoration Supervisor to lead field operations from emergency mobilization through project completion. This is a hands-on leadership position for an experienced restoration professional-not an entry-level opportunity. The Restoration Supervisor is responsible for directing field personnel, coordinating labor and equipment, maintaining project documentation, enforcing safety and quality standards, and helping ensure each project is completed efficiently and profitably. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable leading a large crew, communicating with customers and project stakeholders, and working alongside the team when circumstances require it. This individual must remain organized and decisive in fast-moving emergency situations while consistently representing URI with professionalism, urgency, and accountability. This position primarily serves commercial and industrial clients throughout Greater Philadelphia and may support other URI locations or catastrophe-response assignments as business needs require.

Requirements

At least five years of restoration-industry experience.
At least three years of experience in a field supervisory or leadership role.
Demonstrated experience managing commercial losses and multiple active projects.
Experience leading crews of 10–30 or more field personnel.
Strong working knowledge of water mitigation, structural drying, fire restoration, mold remediation, demolition, and environmental cleaning.
Ability to read and execute scopes of work, interpret moisture readings, and implement drying plans.
Strong leadership, customer-service, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage labor, equipment, materials, documentation, and production schedules.
Willingness to work extended or nontraditional hours and respond to emergency losses when required.
Ability to travel for project support and catastrophe response as needed.
Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.

Nice To Haves

IICRC certifications, including WRT, ASD, CDS, AMRT, and/or FSRT.
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
Experience with Encircle, DASH, PSA, or comparable restoration-management platforms.
Significant commercial large-loss experience.
Catastrophe-response experience.

Responsibilities

Supervise commercial restoration projects involving water, fire, mold, storm, demolition, structural drying, environmental cleaning, and related property losses.
Lead and coordinate crews of 10–30 or more technicians and subcontractors, depending on project size and complexity.
Develop daily work plans, assign responsibilities, coordinate labor, and maintain production schedules.
Mobilize personnel, equipment, materials, and subcontractors for emergency and planned projects.
Ensure work is performed safely and in accordance with applicable OSHA regulations, IICRC standards, project requirements, and company procedures.
Communicate professionally with property owners, facility managers, adjusters, consultants, project managers, and other stakeholders.
Complete and maintain accurate daily documentation, including moisture maps, photographs, equipment records, labor reports, production notes, and project updates.
Interpret scopes of work, moisture readings, drying plans, and project specifications.
Conduct quality-control inspections and promptly address performance or workmanship concerns.
Train, coach, and develop restoration technicians and crew leaders.
Identify field challenges early and work with project leadership to resolve them before they affect safety, quality, schedule, or cost.
Protect company and customer property while maintaining clean, safe, and organized work areas.
Participate in URI's on-call rotation and respond to emergency losses outside normal business hours.
Travel to support other URI locations and catastrophe-response assignments when needed.
