Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
1-2 years of experience in a customer service-oriented technical role or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
Previous experience with ice machines or HVAC maintenance or similar equipment is a plus.
Basic understanding of mechanical systems and electrical components related to ice machines or similar equipment.
Familiarity with troubleshooting techniques and standard repair practices.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
Problem solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing issues.
Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
Skills in maintaining organized records and documentation of service activities.
Demonstrated track record of delivering highest level of customer satisfaction.
High-energy individual with a positive attitude and strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and service protocols.
Strong work ethic and dedication to new technologies and service protocols.

Nice To Haves

Vocational/Technical Training preferred.
Previous experience with ice machines or HVAC maintenance or similar equipment.

Responsibilities

Installation, preventative maintenance, servicing, and cleaning of ice machines.
Assisting in troubleshooting issues.
Conducting routine inspections.
Executing scheduled maintenance tasks under supervision.
Ensuring optimal functionality and cleanliness of equipment.
Driving service success to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
Cleaning, installing, and repairing machines properly the first time.
Maintaining proper truck stock and vehicle cleanliness.
Ensuring machines are serviced in a condition that makes it easier for other technicians to follow.
Following protocols for completion and communication of work orders.
Performing duties as assigned including installation of equipment, bagging/delivery of ice, cleaning, repairing, and maintaining ice machines.
Performing comprehensive servicing, installation, and thorough cleaning of ice machines per Easy Ice standard operating procedures.
Communicating effectively with coworkers and customers.
Accurately documenting all actions performed during service visits.
Ensuring proper truck stock at all times.
Managing the pickup and delivery of ice as needed for service calls.
Identifying and reporting any additional actions required to enhance customer satisfaction.
Facilitating the processing of accurate payments from customers.
Assisting in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the shop.
Ensuring vehicle cleanliness and organization.
