Commercial Refrigeration Service Technician
About The Position
General Parts Group is one of the largest Foodservice Equipment Support companies in the US, with an award-winning service department supporting over 200 technicians across 26 states. We are seeking experienced Commercial Refrigeration Service Technicians to service and repair restaurant equipment at customer locations, including restaurants, hospitals, and schools. This role is for experienced commercial kitchen technicians in the Milwaukee area.
Requirements
- Experience working on commercial kitchen equipment
- Experience working on commercial refrigeration (walk-ins, ice machines, reach-ins)
- Valid driver’s license
- EPA certification required for refrigeration techs
- Ability to work independently in the field
Nice To Haves
- Experience with commercial cooking equipment (fryers, ovens, grills)
- Experience with both commercial cooking and refrigeration equipment (combo technicians)
- CFESA training certifications
- Master Certification designation
Responsibilities
- Service and repair restaurant equipment at customer locations
- Provide service, repair, and maintenance for cooking, refrigeration, beverage, HVAC and ware washing equipment.
