Commercial Refrigeration Service Technician
About The Position
General Parts Group is seeking experienced Commercial Refrigeration Service Technicians to join our team. We are one of the largest Foodservice Equipment Support companies in the US, with an award-winning service department supporting over 200 technicians across 26 states. We provide service, repair, and maintenance for cooking, refrigeration, beverage, HVAC, and ware washing equipment. This role involves servicing and repairing restaurant equipment at customer locations, including restaurants, hospitals, and schools.
Requirements
- Experience working on commercial kitchen equipment
- Experience working on commercial refrigeration equipment (walk-ins, ice machines, reach-ins)
- Valid driver's license
- EPA certification required for refrigeration techs
Nice To Haves
- Experience with both commercial cooking and refrigeration equipment (combo technicians)
- Pursue CFESA training certifications
Responsibilities
- Service and repair restaurant equipment at customer locations including restaurants, hospitals, and schools.
- Perform maintenance on commercial cooking equipment (fryers, ovens, grills).
- Perform maintenance on commercial refrigeration equipment (walk-ins, ice machines, reach-ins).
- Work independently in the field.
