About The Position

We’re hiring experienced Commercial Refrigeration Installers to support supermarket and large-scale refrigeration projects across the Miami metro area and surrounding Southeast markets. This role focuses on rack systems, remodels, and new installations and offers steady, year-round work with consistent travel, strong safety standards, and opportunities to step into lead responsibilities. Requirements

Proven experience (3+ years) in commercial refrigeration installation, with a strong track record and mechanical aptitude.
Willingness to travel and work nights, as needed (including Puerto Rico).
EPA 608 Certification (Universal or Type II) for handing refrigerants is required (or willingness to obtain).
Strong understanding of refrigeration principles, electrical circuits, and mechanical components.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical specifications.
Familiarity with using a wide range of tools, gauges, and diagnostic equipment.
Experience with piping, brazing, and soldering.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
Effective communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a high-performing team.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and self-motivated attitude.
Ability to lift heavy equipment and materials.
Ability to work in various environments, including confined spaces, and in different weather conditions.
Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation.

OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Installing hangers, piping, insulation, and saddles for commercial rack refrigeration systems and components (e.g., evaporator coils, compressors, condensers) and equipment (e.g., walk-in coolers, freezers, display cases).
Receiving, setting, and trimming of refrigerated case fixtures and walk-in coolers/freezers.
Installation of case fixture and walk-in cooler/freezer condensate drain lines.
Reading and interpreting blueprints and EMS/electrical schematics to ensure accurate installation and system functionality.
Ensuring job site safety and cleanliness, adhering to company rules, and industry standards including EPA regulations for refrigerant handling and disposal.
Safely using and maintaining a variety of hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic and testing equipment.
Performing physical work, including lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces.
Traveling for out-of-town work (including Puerto Rico) and night shifts as project schedules require.
Installing and wiring electrical and Energy Management Systems (EMS) in compliance with local and national codes (if selected for a lead role).
Observing, testing, and troubleshooting newly installed systems to ensure proper function and efficiency (if selected for a lead role).
Receiving daily instructions from the Construction and Project Managers, participating in job meetings, and collaborating with Project Managers and other installers to ensure seamless project execution (if selected for a lead role).
Accurately tracking time and materials used on jobs, charging parts and equipment to job numbers, and maintaining records of work performed (if selected for a lead role).
