Carter Services is hiring an experienced full-time Commercial Refrigeration & HVAC Technician to service all kinds of heating, refrigeration, and air conditioning systems/equipment. Requirements

• EPA universal certification
• 3+ years of commercial HVAC/R field service experience
• Excellent electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Attention to detail with the ability to read and interpret schematics
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions/temperatures
• Effective, professional English communication skills (verbal/written) and customer service skills
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record (no major violations)
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening test

Nice To Haves

• Experience creating job records, generating estimates, and invoicing customers through ServiceTitan (or a similar CRM), or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Travel to locations throughout the South Bay to inspect, diagnose, and service clients' heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems (including walk-in coolers, ice machines, rooftop units, etc.).
• Communicate with customers about their needs.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
• Perform safe, compliant repairs and maintenance services.
• Keep track of work performed and parts used for accurate billing and cost-tracking.
• Deliver quality work and treat every customer respectfully.
• Maintain an organized, well-stocked work vehicle.
