About The Position

Nelson Mullins, an Am Law 100 firm, is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to join our Atlanta office. This role is ideal for a candidate with prior law firm experience supporting attorneys in complex commercial real estate matters. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic about handling a wide range of transactions, including the development, acquisition, sale, leasing, and financing of commercial properties, and will thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Requirements

• 3 + years of experience supporting commercial real estate transactions in a law firm setting
• Demonstrated experience with title and survey review, real estate closings, and commercial real estate leasing
• Strong technical proficiency and document management skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively while maintaining accuracy and organization

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of commercial real estate transactions and leasing matters.
• Review and abstract purchase agreements and ground leases.
• Prepare critical dates memoranda and closing checklists.
• Analyze title commitments, surveys, and underlying title documents.
• Draft title summaries and objection letters.
• Coordinate closings.
• Manage post-closing matters, including recordings and title policy issuance.
• Draft, review, and manage commercial leases, amendments, and related documents.
• Coordinate with clients and title companies to ensure timely execution and resolution of issues.
