About The Position
Founded over 50 years ago and headquartered in Kansas City with 30 attorneys, this is a full-service law firm representing businesses and individuals across a broad range of legal matters. Our practice includes civil litigation, real estate, corporate law, business transactions, and construction amongst others. This is a transactional role focused on large commercial real estate (CRE) deals, including purchase and sale, title and survey, financing, leasing, corporate structuring, and entity creation/formation.

- Recent commercial real estate experience
Responsibilities
- Structure, negotiate, and close commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions
- Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, leases (office, retail, industrial), easements, and development agreements
- Advise on and document real estate financing transactions (loan agreements, security instruments, intercreditor agreements)
- Coordinate closings and post-closing deliverables; work with title companies, lenders, and opposing counsel
- Counsel clients on risk allocation, deal structuring, and regulatory compliance
