About The Position

This role is for driven, collaborative, and hard-working individuals passionate about commercial real estate. As a Sales Associate, you will have the opportunity to work alongside a team of senior professionals and be mentored directly by an industry professional. The position focuses on accelerating success at Colliers, a leading commercial real estate services firm. The company is creating a talent pipeline for anticipated vacancies and will consider applicants first when positions become available. Colliers does not use AI-enabled tools to sort or decline applications; all decisions are made by the talent acquisition team.

Requirements

  • Experience with business development and/or sales activities, such as cold-calling and market research.
  • Sound judgement and the ability to navigate complex business relationships while maintaining a high level of professionalism and maturity.
  • Strong interpersonal skills – can build rapport and credibility quickly with people at all levels.
  • Must be detail-oriented; possess outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in Canada on a full-time basis.
  • The employer will not sponsor applicants for work visas.

Nice To Haves

  • Post-secondary diploma or degree is an asset.
  • Real estate license is required (or close to completion).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
  • Prior experience using CRM programs.
  • Experience in the Commercial real estate sector or a related industry is considered a strong asset.
  • Prior experience performing property valuation is considered a strong asset.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct business development activities by identifying and qualifying leads and contacts.
  • Lead on-site tours of properties for clients and prospects.
  • Maintain records of correspondence within CRM+, our national database.
  • Conduct market information research through a variety of tools.
  • Execute and assist with deal transactions including listing/commission agreements, leases, offers and sales agreements.
