About The Position

Under limited supervision, this role develops quality assurance criteria in conjunction with stakeholders that supports the claims process. The analyst reviews and monitors quality assurance reviews across all commercial/business auto lines to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, internal policies, and quality standards. This role conducts complex analyses of processes, documentation, and controls; supports state-requested regulatory quality reviews; and works in a solution-oriented manner to identify and support effective resolutions. The position requires the ability to perform essential functions, with or without accommodation, including seeing, hearing, typing, and speaking. The candidate must attain and maintain required licenses issued by state insurance departments, work independently and in a team environment, multi-task, learn and apply large amounts of technical and procedural information, and communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

Requirements

  • Must be able to, with or without accommodation, perform the essential functions which include, but are not limited to seeing, hearing, typing and speaking
  • Must attain and maintain the required licenses issued by state insurance departments
  • Must be able to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Must be able to multi-task
  • Must be able to learn and apply large amounts of technical and procedural information
  • Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • 3+ years of commercial auto casualty OR cargo OR hazmat claims experience. Previous claim handling experience acceptable if now in a analyst role.
