About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Properties Maintenance Technician with a strong background in property maintenance. This role involves performing necessary maintenance repairs and preventative maintenance throughout the Property's portfolio. The position requires a broad range of skills including carpentry, appliance repair, plumbing, welding, electrical, and masonry. The Maintenance Technician will often work independently, requiring discretion in determining work methods and analyzing maintenance needs. A team-player attitude is also valued, as is a commitment to continuously improving working knowledge and skills. Interpersonal skills are important for interacting with tenants in a way that fosters retention.

Requirements

At least 2 years maintenance experience or experience in a related field.
Valid Alaska Driver’s License.
Ability to lift/carry 80 pounds.
Ability to push/pull 200 pounds/dolly.
Possession of a functional, insured vehicle.
Ability to be insured by company’s auto insurance.
Complete background check and drug screening required.

Nice To Haves

Greater experience and skills in one or more of the following trades: building construction, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, welding, and auto mechanics.
