About The Position

The Commercial Project Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and supporting commercial roofing projects from start to completion. This position requires the ability to effectively balance multiple priorities, communicate clearly with internal teams and customers, and respond quickly to changing project needs.

  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn company software and technology, including CompanyCam.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation as required by the position

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in project supervision, construction, roofing, or a related field preferred.
  • Commercial roofing experience is a plus but not required.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish skills are plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and communicate project status to the management team several times throughout the day, ensuring crew progress and project schedules remain aligned.
  • Assist Roofing Foremen in identifying and resolving challenges encountered on active projects.
  • Provide Logistical directions and support to help ensure projects are completed on schedule.
  • Support the safety Manager with implementation and compliance of company safety policies and procedures in the field.
  • Communicate appropriate project start dates and scheduling information to customers.
  • Conduct regular meetings and provide directions, training, coaching, and disciplinary action when necessary.
  • Attend management meetings and contribute to company growth initiatives and strategic planning.
  • Assist with recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and training crew members.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate time and attendance records for all crews.
  • Ensure accurate and complete job instruction packets are prepared and maintained.
  • Coordinate material planning and product/equipment deliveries to job site.
  • Review in-progress and project completion reports and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Review and maintain CompanyCam documentation and update roof maps as needed.
  • Facilitate repair and maintenance request for company vehicles and equipment.
  • Dispatch crews and coordinate daily field assignments.
  • Schedule required in-progress and final inspections in accordance with applicable permits and project requirements.
  • Track materials, equipment, and other items returned to the shop.
  • Review receipts and assist with evaluating branch expenses.
  • Review and approve vacation requests in accordance with company policies and staffing needs.
  • Conduct final on-site inspection with roofing foreman before closing a job.
  • Pull and coordinate inventory for jobs as necessary.
  • Work weekends as needed based on project schedules and business requirements.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
