Commercial Plumbing Superintendent

About The Position

We are looking for a Superintendent to join our Commercial Plumbing team. Similar to a Foreman, the Superintendent possesses the technical expertise for the job but is responsible for a larger scope of work and provides manpower visibility for the Project Manager. The ideal candidate has prior experience as a Superintendent or Foreman and desires to contribute to the overall management and development of the organization at a higher level. The Superintendent will align and dispatch crews, conduct their training, and recruit field talent. They will also calculate the ROI for large tool purchases, communicate clearly and concisely with company customers and vendors, supervise and mentor other superintendents, and conduct annual performance reviews for all Foremen and Construction Field Workers.

Requirements

Must pass drug and background screens
Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
Minimum 3 years in supervisory role in Commercial Plumbing
Proficient understanding of refrigerant, gas and electric furnaces, heat pumps, troubleshooting and installation of all commercial HVAC systems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must possess knowledge and ability to communicate effectively with staff concerning operations, policies, work rules, assignments, scheduling changes/practices and other areas relevant to operations
Exceptional safety knowledge of tools, testing devices and surroundings
Excellent computer skills (proficiency with MS Office)
Ability to train and supervise others
