About The Position

Applicant will need to be able to diagnose commercial plumbing issues/problems, which will include anything from faucets to drain clogs or conventional style water heaters and tank-less style as well. The technician must be able to do repairs as well as replacements of anything that has to do with the plumbing in any given facility. Technician should also be familiar with working any type/size drain machine to attempt to clean/clear any sized drain stoppage. Our service techs work inside and outside of our customer’s facilities and are in direct communication and contact with them at all times. We are seeking an experienced Commercial Plumbing Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience in diagnosing and troubleshooting plumbing issues, installing and repairing plumbing fixtures, and working with various plumbing materials. Our service technicians work inside and outside of our customers' facilities and are in direct communication and contact with them at all times.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in commercial plumbing
  • A mixture of new plumbing installations and plumbing service is a definite requirement
  • Knowledge of complete plumbing systems required
  • Valid Driver's License with Good Driving Record
  • Advanced Electrical Knowledge
  • Complete Knowledge of Plumbing Drainage, Waste & Venting Systems
  • Complete Knowledge and Skills to Install & Repair Plumbing Pipe & Fittings
  • Complete Knowledge of Local Plumbing Codes and Ability to Read Blueprints
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • At the time of hire, employees will be required to provide proof of employment eligibility.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose commercial plumbing issues/problems, including faucets, drain clogs, conventional style water heaters, and tank-less style water heaters.
  • Perform repairs and replacements of plumbing components within facilities.
  • Operate various types and sizes of drain machines to clean and clear drain stoppages.
  • Work both inside and outside of customer facilities.
  • Maintain direct communication and contact with customers at all times.
  • Troubleshoot plumbing issues.
  • Install and repair plumbing fixtures.
  • Work with various plumbing materials.
  • Perform advanced diagnosis, service, and repair of all types of water heaters and boilers.
  • Perform advanced pump/lift station diagnosis, service, and repair.
  • Perform freeze (live) water line operations.
  • Perform hot taps for use on energized piping and equipment.
  • Utilize drain camera for recording and locating underground lines.
  • Perform advanced drain cleaning with cable machines.
  • Perform advanced drain cleaning with hydro jetter equipment.
  • Install and repair plumbing pipe and fittings (Steel Pipe, Ductile Iron, Copper, PEX, PVC).
  • Perform advanced plumbing fixture/equipment installation.
  • Read and interpret blueprints.
  • Adhere to local plumbing codes.
