About The Position
S&S Mechanical Services is hiring a commercial plumbing professional to lead plumbing crews on commercial construction projects in St. George, Utah. This hands-on leadership role involves supervising teams, coordinating installations, and ensuring high-quality workmanship on commercial plumbing systems. The position focuses on completing projects on time, maintaining jobsite efficiency and safety, and mentoring team members. Requirements
- Several years of experience in commercial plumbing.
- Strong leadership and crew management abilities.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and specifications.
- Solid understanding of commercial plumbing systems and building codes.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Nice To Haves
- Journeyman plumbing license.
- Previous experience as a foreman or supervisor in commercial construction.
- Experience managing large-scale or multi-phase construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise plumbing crews on commercial construction job sites.
- Coordinate plumbing installations using blueprints, engineered plans, and specifications.
- Communicate with project managers, general contractors, engineers, and inspectors.
- Ensure work complies with local plumbing codes, safety standards, and company expectations.
- Plan daily jobsite activities and assign tasks to crew members.
- Coordinate with other trades to support project workflow and scheduling.
- Train, mentor, and support apprentices and junior plumbers.
- Track materials, tools, equipment, and jobsite resources.
- Identify and resolve field issues while maintaining project timelines.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized jobsite environment.
