Commercial Plumber
About The Position
We are looking to hire skilled Commercial Plumbers to join our Mechanical team for ongoing work in Pensacola, FL and the surrounding area. All work is to be performed on the military base and is paid the required Davis-Bacon prevailing wage, specific to the base. Our Plumbers will be responsible for the fabrication and installation of plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment on an active construction site, ensuring that work is done in accordance with relevant codes. Work involves technical application of mechanical principles. This is all to be done using the appropriate equipment and implementing the required safety practices in support of RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values.
Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- 4 or more years (or equivalent) field or trade work experience as a journey-level plumbing in a commercial or facilities operations setting.
- New construction and commercial plumbing focus.
- Evidence of identity and U.S. work authorization.
- Successfully pass a drug screening.
- Successfully pass a commercial criminal background check, including a stricter Department of Defense background check, for access to job site at military base.
Nice To Haves
- Government, military, or large commercial construction experience preferred.
