About The Position
Skillforce is hiring Commercial Plumbers for ongoing project work in Louisa, Virginia. As a Commercial Plumber, you will be responsible for running copper and steel pipe on commercial construction site. Helpers with pipe experience are welcome on this crew as well. Requirements
- Hands-on experience running copper and steel pipe on commercial jobs.
- Ability to lay out and run own work with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to learn and stamina to keep pace with a working crew (for helpers).
- Provide own standard hand tools and own PPE for the job site.
- Reliable transportation to the job site every day.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Install copper and steel piping systems on commercial construction projects.
- Cut, ream, solder, and braze copper pipe and fittings to the plumbing plans.
- Cut, thread, and assemble steel pipe, and hang pipe and supports to layout.
- Set piping runs to rough-in dimensions and keep the work plumb, level, and square.
- Coordinate with the other trades on site and keep the work area clean and safe.
