About The Position

Skillforce is hiring a Commercial Pipefitter for building mechanical work. This is ongoing project work with weekly pay. The work involves hydronic and domestic water piping in an occupied office building, utilizing materials such as black iron, copper, PVC, and CPVC. Responsibilities include layout, cutting, threading, grooving, hanging, and tie-ins. There is no travel, no on-call rotation, and no weld test required. Welding experience is a plus but not mandatory. Client badging is required before your first day.

Requirements

• 5 or more years commercial pipe fitting
• Read prints and run the work on your own
• Own hand tools and PPE
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Must pass a background check and drug screen

• Welding experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Lay out and install hydronic piping runs
• Cut, thread, groove, and hang pipe
• Run black iron, copper, and PVC lines
• Tie in valves, pumps, and equipment
• Pressure test lines and check for leaks
