About The Position

Our client, a Leading Pharmaceuticals Company, is seeking an experienced Program Manager (PM) to support a Commercial Pharma client engagement. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving end-to-end program delivery across multiple work-streams, ensuring effective program governance, stakeholder alignment, and successful execution of strategic initiatives. The role requires close collaboration with client leadership and internal teams to structure, plan, and deliver complex programs that may include technology transformation, system implementations, digital enablement, and data/analytics initiatives. The selected candidate will be required to work on-site at the client location 03 days per week, with the contract running through the end of September 2026 and a likelihood of extension.

Requirements

Minimum 6+ years of Program Management experience, with a proven track record of managing multiple projects, work-streams, and competing priorities.
Prior experience delivering technology implementation programs, particularly involving Data Lake, Data Management, and Reporting solutions.
Experience working within the Pharmaceutical industry, including Commercial and R&D technology environments.
Strong communication, facilitation, and executive presence, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders effectively.
Hands-on experience with project management methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid approaches.
Strong understanding of PMI and Agile project management standards; PMP, SAFe, or Agile certifications are preferred.
Solid understanding of project KPIs and SLAs and their application in program delivery.
Demonstrated ability to implement and manage project delivery processes effectively.
Ability to operate in ambiguous environments, with strong problem-solving skills and the capacity to manage unstructured projects successfully.

Previous experience in a consulting or client-facing role is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Partner with internal teams and client stakeholders to define program scope, outcomes, priorities, and success metrics, while translating business requirements into actionable delivery roadmaps.
Establish clear program governance including roles, responsibilities, communication frameworks, and reporting structures to ensure alignment across work-streams.
Lead end-to-end planning and execution of large, complex programs consisting of multiple projects or work-streams, including technology transformation, system implementations, digital enablement, and data/analytics initiatives.
Identify program complexities and proactively engage stakeholders to define success criteria, resolve challenges, and drive solutions through structured and unstructured problem-solving.
Drive program delivery across strategic initiatives, ensuring strong momentum, effective coordination, and successful engagement outcomes.
Conduct regular meetings with PMO teams and project leads, ensuring project status, risks, issues, and achievements are documented and communicated effectively.
Oversee PMO processes and tools including project charters, decision logs, ticket management systems, issue tracking, communication reporting, and knowledge management.
Manage program risks by proactively identifying potential issues, developing mitigation strategies, and escalating where required.
Build and maintain strong relationships with senior client stakeholders, acting as a key point of contact for project sponsors and leadership.
Facilitate workshops, status meetings, executive updates, and decision-making forums while sharing performance summaries with stakeholders.
Provide guidance to junior PMO team members when required and collaborate with internal teams to identify opportunities for additional or follow-on engagements.
