About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Project Manager to oversee complex, high-value electrical system projects from post-order handoff through final delivery. This onsite role in Marietta, Ohio, collaborates closely with manufacturing, engineering, and operations teams to ensure projects are executed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. The Commercial Project Manager will act as the main commercial and operational owner for assigned projects, managing customer relationships, coordinating internal teams, and ensuring contractual, schedule, and delivery commitments are met.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of project management experience in electrical equipment manufacturing, infrastructure, or integrated power systems
  • Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional projects
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing-based delivery models
  • Direct experience interfacing with customers, EPCs, or contractors
  • Ability to interpret contracts, schedules, and technical documentation
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
  • Willingness to work onsite in Marietta, OH

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with integrated or prefabricated electrical systems
  • Background in mission-critical or data center projects
  • Familiarity with ERP or project tracking tools (e.g., M2M, Smartsheets, or similar)
  • Experience supporting Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and delivery coordination

Responsibilities

  • Lead assigned projects from contract review to shipment and customer acceptance
  • Serve as primary point of contact for project execution and commercial matters
  • Conduct internal project kickoff meetings with engineering, operations, supply chain, and quality teams
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, and deliverables
  • Identify risks, constraints, and changes early, driving timely resolution
  • Review and interpret customer contracts, purchase orders, and project scope documents
  • Coordinate scope clarifications and change orders with sales
  • Ensure alignment between quoted scope, engineered design, and manufactured deliverables
  • Support invoicing milestones, delivery documentation, and customer acceptance
  • Act as central coordinator across engineering, manufacturing, quality, logistics, and sales
  • Drive accountability and execution across multiple teams
  • Maintain configuration control and clear communication as projects progress
  • Escalate issues appropriately while maintaining customer confidence
  • Lead customer status calls and provide consistent project reporting
  • Communicate professionally with customers and internal leadership
  • Manage expectations for schedule, testing, logistics, and delivery
  • Represent the organization with credibility in high-stakes project environments
