About The Position

Scout Pest Control is a fast-growing, locally owned and operated pest control company dedicated to delivering exceptional service throughout North Alabama. We are currently looking for a Commercial Pest Control Technician to help drive our service quality, team performance, and company growth to the next level. The Commercial Pest Control Technician is responsible for all customers on his/her daily route and maintains the highest standards for quality of service by maintaining the company cultures of being friendly, kind, service oriented, hardworking and being highly technically competent under the direction of the Commercial Services Manager.

Requirements

• Must either be licensed or able to become licensed in the state of Alabama in: General Pest, Termite, Public Health (Mosquito), Lawn and Ornamental
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving history.
• Adept or readily able to become adept in servicing for Bed Bugs, Cockroaches, and other complex pest issues.
• Able to set correct expectations with customers in a friendly and clear way.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.
• Strong communication skills.
• Sales-minded with a drive to meet and exceed revenue goals.
• Willingness to work longer days when necessary.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with pest control service processes and CRM software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Service Pest Control Customers with a high standard of quality and thoroughness.
• Communicate effectively with the commercial service manager, teammates, lead techs, and headquarters.
• Upsell and recommend additional services that add value to customers.
• Ask for and earn referrals.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked company vehicle.
• Help foster a positive, hardworking, and respectful team environment.
• Put in full, productive workdays; help the team get as much done as possible.
• Take ownership of personal performance and living our company culture ideals and standards.
• Seeks and obtains five star reviews from customers by giving great service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
