About The Position

The Bug Master is a family-owned pest control company with over 40 years of experience serving commercial and residential clients across Texas. We partner with businesses to protect their facilities, reputation, and operations through proactive pest and facility solutions. We’re hiring a Commercial Sales Representative to drive new business across mid-market and multi-site commercial accounts within our commercial division. This is a field-based, business development-focused role with a strong emphasis on hunting and closing new business. While some leads are provided, success in this role comes from building your own pipeline, targeting the right accounts, and developing long-term client relationships. This is not a technician role. You own the client conversation, solution design, and close—our operations team handles service delivery.

Requirements

  • Ability to work in a field-based sales role with regular local travel
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Comfortable with performance-based compensation and sales targets
  • Willingness to prospect, build pipeline, and develop new business
  • Ability to conduct on-site inspections and walk commercial properties
  • Strong consultative B2B sales skills with the ability to lead discovery and close business
  • Proven ability to prospect, build pipeline, and win new accounts
  • Confidence in face-to-face client interactions and presenting solutions
  • Ability to identify operational risks and position value-based solutions
  • Skilled in negotiation, objection handling, and closing
  • Strong time management and territory management skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
  • Professional presence with the ability to build trust with business decision-makers
  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience required
  • Proven success in business development and closing new accounts
  • Experience using CRM systems and managing a sales pipeline
  • High school diploma or equivalent required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience selling into commercial, facility, or multi-site environments preferred
  • Background in pest control, facilities, HVAC, uniform services (e.g., Cintas), or similar industries preferred
  • Experience with recurring service sales models preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and develop new commercial business ( ~80% hunting / 20% inbound )
  • Target and engage Tier 2 and Tier 3 commercial accounts
  • Conduct on-site inspections of commercial facilities
  • Identify pest, rodent, termite, and compliance risks
  • Lead consultative conversations with business owners and operations leaders
  • Build and present tailored pest control and facility protection solutions
  • Close recurring service agreements
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of commercial clients
  • Expand accounts through renewals and additional services
  • Accurately scope work and document activity in CRM
  • Partner with operations to ensure smooth service delivery
