About The Position

A national employee-owned fire and life safety organization is immediately hiring a results and sales-driven Outsides Commercial Sales Rep – Fire & Life Safety Systems. You would cover a sales territory of Lubbock, Midland, Amarillo, Adesso, TX. This is an excellent opportunity for sales-oriented Fire Alarm Techs looking to get off the tools!

Requirements

• At least three (3) years proven sales experience in B2B services with strong prospecting skills (phone, cold calling, in-person) in the fire prevention and life safety industry
• Technical knowledge of products used in fire protection systems (i.e., fire alarms, fire sprinklers, panels, equipment and materials, extinguishers, fire hoses, etc.)
• Proficient communication (verbal and written) and computer skills
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the commercial sector
• Travel to visit current and potential clients to acquire new, maintain, and increase existing accounts to increase revenue and profits across all product lines
• Prepare, create, and modify estimates/quotes for all projects and assist with drawing take offs
• Customer follow up
• Work closely with the purchasing department on available inventory and pricing
• Participate in sales-driven activities such as training, sales meetings, conferences & trade shows
• Other sales administrative duties as required
