About The Position

Namaste Solar is seeking Commercial O&M Apprentice Electricians to perform regular maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair commercial and small utility solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. The O&M team aims to be the premier solar O&M in Colorado by providing best-in-class customer service and technical expertise to ensure systems remain online and efficient. This role involves working with licensed Journeyworker Electricians on the electrical AC and DC components of projects. Namaste Solar supports and contributes to the cost of apprenticeship training through the four-year program at IECRM (Independent Electrical Contractors Rocky Mountain), which is a mandatory requirement for this position.

Responsibilities

Perform electrical and mechanical service work on commercial and small utility solar PV installations in Colorado.
Complete routine preventative maintenance and testing.
Troubleshoot and repair solar PV system components efficiently and safely.
Install and repair remote communication systems.
Initiate and facilitate equipment warranty claims and vendor RMA processes.
Communicate with customers via emails and phone calls.
Monitor and maintain stock of spare parts.
Track and report materials and equipment expenses.
