About The Position

Family-owned and operated, Ilderton Dodge Chrysler Jeep RAM is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Mobility Van Sales Associate to join our team in High Point, North Carolina. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth through the sale of mobility vehicles, commercial vans, and adaptive transportation solutions. The ideal candidate will serve as a trusted advisor to customers, helping individuals, families, businesses, and organizations identify the right mobility solutions to meet their needs. This is a full-time, individual contributor role with commission-based compensation. Fourth-generation owners are very excited to meet you!

Requirements

  • 3+ years of automotive, commercial, or fleet vehicle sales experience.
  • Strong consultative sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience managing complex sales from initial consultation through delivery.
  • High emotional intelligence, empathy, and professionalism when working with customers and community partners.
  • Experience using CRM systems and dealership management software.
  • Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of mobility vehicles, specialty upfitting, or adaptive transportation solutions preferred.
  • Familiarity with VA benefits, vocational rehabilitation programs, and third-party funding processes is a plus.
  • additional education or specialized training is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Sell commercial vehicles, mobility vans, and adaptive transportation solutions.
  • Conduct in-depth consultations to assess customer mobility needs, physical limitations, usage requirements, and budget considerations.
  • Build and maintain relationships with rehabilitation centers, hospitals, veterans' organizations, case managers, and community partners.
  • Attend trade shows and community events to promote mobility and paratransit solutions.
  • Bid on commercial and government contracts to increase unit sales opportunities.
  • Collect customer payments and funding approvals in a timely manner to ensure efficient delivery processes.
  • Manage commercial and mobility inventory levels and communicate vehicle availability to customers.
  • Negotiate pricing, timelines, and contract terms while maintaining profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain strong working knowledge of wheelchair lifts, ramps, hand controls, transfer seats, securement systems, and other adaptive equipment.
  • Verify specifications and installation requirements to ensure compliance with manufacturer and safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate customer records, quotes, funding approvals, and follow-up activities within dealership CRM systems.
  • Ensure all required documentation for third-party funding, VA programs, vocational rehabilitation, and compliance requirements is completed and submitted on time.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, including service, upfit teams, finance, and management, to provide a seamless customer experience.
  • Participate in ongoing training and stay current on industry trends, adaptive technology, and manufacturer requirements.
