About The Position

AB Facility Services is a trusted facility solutions partner delivering integrated maintenance and building support services helping organizations create and maintain safe, efficient, high-performing, and welcoming environments. We are looking for a Commercial Mobile HVAC & Maintenance Technician to service multiple commercial properties throughout Morristown, NJ and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of commercial HVAC experience along with hands-on commercial building maintenance/handyman experience. This position will primarily handle HVAC maintenance and service tickets, while also performing general repairs and maintenance as needed.

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial HVAC experience required.
• Strong HVAC troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Experience with basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, and painting.
• EPA 608 Universal Certification required.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel between customer locations.
• Ability to work independently and respond professionally to customer needs.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work in mechanical rooms, rooftops, and other commercial environments.

Nice To Haves

• Commercial building maintenance/handyman experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on commercial HVAC systems.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, and HVAC control issues.
• Service equipment such as rooftop units, split systems, air handlers, boilers, pumps, and related equipment.
• Respond to HVAC and general maintenance service tickets at commercial properties.
• Perform general handyman repairs, including basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, painting, and other building repairs.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and service vehicle in a clean and organized condition.
• Communicate professionally with customers and provide updates on completed work and additional service needs.
• Complete service documentation and follow all safety requirements.
