Intramotev is seeking an experienced Manager of Business Development / Commercial with a focus on international markets. This position will play a key role in helping Intramotev meet its future volume goals by designing and executing an international go-to-market approach. A successful candidate will have deep experience in managing agents or consultants in international markets with a track record of success in new market entry.

Requirements

  • Ability to build and maintain rolodex of strong relationships at executive, senior, and mid-levels of international railroads, mining companies, and other heavy industrial users of rail internationally
  • Ability to learn railroad operations, use cases, and networks
  • Ability to understand and convey technically complex product benefits and value propositions in simple terms
  • Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time including internationally
  • Self-starter willing to operate independently with autonomy as well as cross-functionally in small teams
  • Hold at least a Bachelor’s Degree

  • Familiarity with international rail regulatory agencies and frameworks

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute strategies for entering new international markets
  • Identify, vet, engage, and manage in-market agents and consultants in key international markets
  • Secure international customers directly, through agents, or through joint ventures and partnerships
  • Represent Intramotev at conferences, within industry organizations, and at customer events
  • Work across Intramotev to communicate customer and industry feedback to Engineering and Design teams
