About The Position

Champion & Nash is looking for an HVAC Commercial Maintenance Technician to perform light commercial work for HVAC system maintenance and repairs. This person must meet safety, quality, and customer standards on all jobs. This is a full-time role that will report to the Service Manager and be based out of our growing Houston office.

Requirements

5+ years of commercial HVAC experience
Knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and installation practices
Strong organization and attention to detail skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Valid driver’s license
Must consider safety one’s primary job and must have general knowledge of safe working practices and OSHA requirements
Must be able to climb ladders, work in hot and cold environments, and work in small crawl spaces
The ability to regularly lift and/or move 50+ lbs is required

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of ServiceTitan is a plus

Responsibilities

Maintain and repair commercial HVAC systems and equipment
Work on rooftops with less than 20 tons, splits, WSHP units
Establish customer rapport to offer solutions and provide the correct service
Maintain a clean and organized job site and truck
Participate in training, meetings, and company events
Local work for our contract customers
