As a Commercial Low Voltage & Fire Alarm Installation Technician, you will install and configure electronic security and fire alarm systems for commercial customers.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of low-voltage installation experience required
  • Experience installing security, fire alarm, video surveillance (CCTV), access control, or intercom systems
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with tools and wiring; proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently without management support
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Nice To Haves

  • OSHA 10 and/or NICET certification a plus

Responsibilities

  • Install and configure electronic security systems including intrusion, fire alarm, video surveillance (CCTV), access control, and network-based intercom systems
  • Run and terminate low-voltage wiring
  • Program and configure systems to meet project specifications and ensure proper operation
  • Test systems to verify functionality and confirm readiness for customer use
  • Guide customers through system operation and features in a clear, professional, and approachable way
  • Accurately document installation details, including photos and system information, and upload records to customer accounts through company systems
  • Ensure all work meets safety standards and company quality expectations
  • Complete work on a variety of job sites, including commercial and public projects that may be subject to prevailing wage requirements
  • Deliver exceptional customer care throughout the installation process and effectively coordinate with contractors and other points of contact on commercial job sites
