About The Position
We are seeking an Insurance Specialist with experience in Loan Servicing, Commercial Insurance, or Real Estate. This position requires a strong analytical mindset and the ability to assess complex insurance and real estate situations, evaluate risks, and manage a wide variety of tasks independently. The role is responsible for protecting investor interests related to serviced mortgages by managing insurance matters for commercial properties held as collateral for lenders and investors. This includes insurance analysis, escrow premium disbursements, risk assessment, appraisal review, compliance monitoring, and communication with servicers, investors, borrowers, insurance agents, and internal departments.
Requirements
- Experience in Loan Servicing, Commercial Insurance, or Real Estate.
- Strong analytical and assessment skills with the ability to evaluate complex risks.

Responsibilities
- Monitor insurance compliance for commercial properties held as collateral for lenders and investors.
- Perform insurance analysis and risk assessments related to commercial properties.
- Review appraisals and insurance documentation.
- Process and monitor premium disbursements from escrow.
- Ensure insurance activities comply with applicable investor guidelines, agreements, laws, and mortgage documents.
- Communicate and coordinate with servicers, investors, borrowers, insurance agents, and internal departments.
- Analyze complex insurance and/or real estate situations and clearly communicate findings and recommendations.
- Manage multiple tasks and priorities that may vary from day to day.
- Work independently while exercising sound judgment and maintaining accuracy.
- Maintain appropriate documentation and follow established procedures and requirements.
