About The Position

River Run is a shared services organization that supports banking affiliates, Newburyport Bank, Pentucket Bank and Rollstone Bank & Trust. The Commercial Loan Servicing Manager oversees the efficient, accurate, and compliant operation of commercial loan servicing by driving process improvements, implementing system and regulatory updates, and developing team performance. Provides leadership by managing complex issues, conducting employee performance reviews, ensuring procedures and documentation are consistently followed, overseeing account reconciliations and audit requests, and preparing operational reports to support performance monitoring and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in commercial loan servicing, loan operations, or a related banking operations function.
  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or people leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial loan servicing operations, including loan processing, payment processing, escrow administration, collections, and investor reporting.
  • Working knowledge of applicable federal and state banking regulations, including TILA, RESPA, FCRA, and GLBA.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
  • Strong customer service, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to lead and develop a team.

Responsibilities

  • Provides ongoing leadership, coaching, and performance management by meeting with staff monthly, conducting quarterly reviews, and supporting employee development.
  • Leads projects involving new systems and process implementations while ensuring procedures are documented and kept current for consistent operations.
  • Maintains system settings and bank control records to reflect regulatory and product changes, and serves as the primary resource for resolving complex operational issues.
  • Oversees monthly account reconciliations, audit requests, and the team ticketing system to ensure work is completed accurately, timely, and in accordance with established standards.
  • Develops and maintains operational reports to monitor performance, identify trends, support decision-making, and complete ad hoc reporting or data cleanup as needed.
  • Maintains expertise in Bank products, services, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements through ongoing training, ensuring operational accuracy, compliance, and adherence to federal and state regulations, including Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) requirements as applicable.
  • Travel to Fitchburg Operations Center at least monthly to support direct reports working at that location.
