About The Position

The Commercial Loan Servicing Manager is responsible for leading our commercial loan servicing team and overseeing all aspects of loan servicing operations. This role guides a team of loan servicers, sets clear priorities, and ensures critical servicing functions—such as loan boarding, payment processing, reconciliation, and reporting—are completed accurately and on time. As the department’s primary subject matter expert, this position maintains servicing standards, safeguards data integrity, and upholds compliance with bank policies, investor guidelines, and state and federal regulations. This position plays a key role in strengthening operational controls and reducing regulatory and reputational risk, through managing workflows, coaching and developing staff, and implementing process improvements that enhance accuracy, efficiency, and turnaround times. This role collaborates closely with Operations, Credit, Compliance, and external vendors to support new products, system enhancements, and regulatory updates. Additional responsibilities include executing servicing events, monitoring insurance compliance, supporting audits and exams, and driving corrective actions when issues arise.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or 5+ years of comparable commercial loan servicing experience.
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop a high‑performing, service‑oriented team; set expectations; and drive accountability.
  • Broad knowledge of commercial loan servicing functions.
  • Strong written, verbal, presentation, and listening skills; able to communicate with tact and professionalism in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Excellent time‑management, critical‑thinking, and problem‑solving abilities; able to manage multiple priorities, interruptions, and complex situations with limited supervision.
  • Proficient with core banking systems and lending software.
  • Strong math skills including interest calculations, proportions, ratios, and percentages.
  • Demonstrated commitment to organizational values such as Respect, Integrity, Teamwork, and Accountability.
