About The Position

Utah First Credit Union is seeking to add a full-time, 40-hour-a-week Commercial Loan Processor to our team at our Salt Lake City Corporate office. This individual provides exceptional service and strives to improve our customers' financial lives by cross-selling products and services as well as producing loans. The Commercial Loan Processor is responsible for processing loans from the time of application through closing and funding, they act as a liaison between the borrower, underwriter, loan officer, and lender. The Commercial Loan Processor ensures loans are processed accurately and in a timely manner while maintaining compliance with all guidelines, policies, and procedures established by federal, state, local and investor guidelines. The Commercial Loan Processor orders specific documentation including, but not limited to: title reports, closing protection letters, payoffs, credit reports, required government documents, verification of employment, evidence of insurance, etc.

Requirements

  • Experience in the consumer lending field
  • A minimum of 2 years of loan processor experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of bank / credit union services, policies, and procedures
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to resolve problems and prevent future mistakes
  • Exceptional time management skills
  • Self-directed worker
  • 18-years and older

Responsibilities

  • Processing loans from the time of application through closing and funding
  • Acting as a liaison between the borrower, underwriter, loan officer, and lender

  • Ordering specific documentation including, but not limited to: title reports, closing protection letters, payoffs, credit reports, required government documents, verification of employment, evidence of insurance, etc.
