We currently have an opening for a Commercial Loan Processor to join our team in our HARTFORD, WI location. This position is ON-SITE in Hartford, Wisconsin. This is not hybrid or remote work. ONSITE Hours of work are Monday - Friday 8:15 am - 5:00 pm, overtime as needed. As a Commercial Loan Processor, you are responsible for managing the end-to-end processing of commercial loans. This includes preparing and reviewing loan documentation, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and maintaining accurate records throughout the loan lifecycle.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field strongly preferred.
A minimum of 2 years of commercial loan processing experience is preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
Familiarity with document management systems and banking software.
Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic environment.
Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.

Responsibilities

Prepare and review loan documents for new, renewed, and modified commercial loans.
Ensure all documentation complies with loan approval terms, bank policies, and regulatory requirements.
Responsible for complex and high-value commercial loan documentation such as SBA loans, stand-by letters of credit and loan participations bought and sold.
Review entity documentation to verify legal name, structure, and signatory authority.
Perform all required booking and follow-up reporting of loan documentation.
Maintain accurate and current loan records throughout the loan lifecycle.
Complete loan files, calculate and apply interest, and accurately record payments.
Apply interest payments, flooring, and maintenance for all dealer floor plans.
Prepare for loan closing by ordering the appropriate documentation, to include, but not limited to Real estate appraisal or evaluation, title work, UCC filing, flood certificate.
Provide assistance with maintaining SBA reporting.
Communicate with loan officers, underwriters, and borrowers to ensure timely and accurate processing.
Perform UCC filings, continuations, and terminations.
Follow up on documentation exceptions for commercial loans, such as obtaining final loan policies and recorded documents.
Perform post-closing audit of commercial and agricultural loans.
Process paid loan files.
Respond to inquiries and resolve documentation issues in a timely and professional manner.
Scan and index loan documents using digital imaging software.
Advise and support loan officers to ensure that loans are documented per the terms of the Credit Presentation.
Communicate with participant banks in the processing of loan booking, loan advances and payments.
