About The Position

The Symicor Group is a boutique talent acquisition firm seeking to fill a Commercial Loan Processor/Closer role for their bank client in the Waukesha, WI area. This position is responsible for documenting collections, closing, handling loan payments and advances, customer and vendor interaction, and general loan portfolio maintenance. The role involves accurate and timely preparation, servicing, and maintenance of commercial loan portfolios. The opportunity offers a salary of up to $75K and a benefits package. This is not a remote position.

Requirements

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree preferred; experience in loan operations and loan closings considered in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

Correspond with applicants to gather financial information for the loan approval process.
Order preliminary title work, UCC searches, Flood Certificates, environmental reports, Credit Reports, and all other necessary data.
Assist Commercial Loan Officers in managing portfolios and administrative tasks as assigned.
Work directly with Commercial Loan Officers, Treasury Management, and other team members to effectively grow portfolio revenue by presenting financial solutions to customers.
Provide clerical and administrative support to assigned lending staff and assist with setting up commercial loan files with timeliness and accuracy.
Coordinate with borrower and/or insurance agent for lapsed or expiring insurance.
Contribute to the Team’s overall meeting and/or exceeding the assigned volume/production goals.
Serve as the primary contact for the coordination of information between client and internal departments in the loan process.
Prepare and review commercial loan documents prior to closing to ensure all approval conditions and requirements are accurate and complete.
Communicate and finalize loan closing with third parties such as title companies, external closing attorneys, inspectors, and appraisers to ensure all aspects of the loan preparation are completed.
Prepare loan disbursement entries for loan closing and bookings.
Review and process credit reports and draw requests for customers.
Assist in obtaining updated financial statements, credit reports, rent rolls, and other financial information to maintain the servicing file.
Prepare loan extensions and deferrals.
Assist in preparing credit memos.
Coordinate process with participant banks for loan participation purchases or sales.
Maintain files for all repos, small claims, and garnishments.
Oversee renewals, document tickler, and covenant tracking of loans.
Monitor loan documentation exception reports and follow up to clear up document exceptions in a timely manner.
Monitor financial statement exception reports and follow up to clear up financial statement exceptions in a timely manner.
Work closely with Commercial Loan Officer to manage maturing loans.
Provide notary services as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
