About The Position

Provide support and train under the supervision of the Commercial Loan Team Leader. Will be trained to assist in every aspect of the commercial loan process including maintaining client relationships and developing new commercial relationships. This role will include credit training to assist in identifying new loan requests that are consistent with Wayne Bank’s loan policy and credit standards. Cultivating new relationships with businesses and centers of influence will be essential, with local travel and ongoing training required. May be required to work outside of normal business hours to meet the needs of the customer.

Requirements

• Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
• Moderate to advanced computer skills
• Knowledge of WORD and EXCEL required
• A minimum of 6 months banking experience required

Nice To Haves

• Prior loan experience strongly preferred
• 4-year degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred
