About The Position
Offit Kurman is seeking a Commercial Litigation Attorney with 5–10 years of experience to join our growing litigation practice. The ideal candidate will have experience handling sophisticated business disputes, including breach of contract, business torts, fiduciary duty, partnership/shareholder disputes, trade secrets and restrictive covenants, real estate disputes, and other complex commercial matters. Candidates should have strong research and writing skills, experience managing cases from inception through resolution, taking and defending depositions, motion practice, hearings, and/or trial. Strong federal and state court experience is preferred.
Requirements
- 5-10 years of commercial litigation experience
- Active Virginia bar admission required
- Strong research and writing skills
- Experience managing cases from inception through resolution
- Experience taking and defending depositions
- Experience with motion practice, hearings, and/or trial
Nice To Haves
- DC and/or MD bar admission
- Strong federal and state court experience
