Requirements

At least two years of litigation experience
Active membership in good standing with the State Bar of Georgia
Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
Experience taking depositions
Prior courtroom and hearing experience
Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
Sound judgment and a solutions-oriented approach
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines effectively
A collaborative attitude and genuine desire to grow professionally

Responsibilities

Draft complex motions, pleadings, discovery, and persuasive legal correspondence
Take and defend depositions
Represent clients in mediations, motion hearings, pretrial proceedings, and trials
Review case files and electronic databases to identify key evidence and prepare exhibits
Develop deposition and trial outlines
Meet directly with clients, evaluate legal issues, and help shape litigation strategy
Analyze complex disputes and recommend practical, results-driven solutions
Negotiate on behalf of clients and help move cases toward efficient resolution
Collaborate closely with senior attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants
Delegate assignments to support staff and oversee the quality and completion of their work
Assist with commercial disputes and employment-related matters
